Sara Zouak
During her business school training, Sarah Zouak was destined for a career in marketing. This is a result of a first professional experience in a large group when she became aware of her desire to commit to social causes and thus give real meaning to her professional life. In her school, she was elected Vice President of the Humanitarian Office. It continues with a first experience in the nonprofit sector within the association AIDES, the first European NGO to fight against HIV / AIDS , a training ground for her suitable working memory on social transformation within an association. A graduate of a master's degree in business school, Sarah decided to pursue her studies and to specialize in project management in NGOs. It thus performs a second Masters in International Relations within the IRIS, the Institute of International and Strategic Relations in Paris, along with a degree in Arabic literature at the University of the Sorbonne. She was also a volunteer in the association Youth Diplomacy in the Africa division, and Make Sense association that promotes social entrepreneurship. Sarah decided to devote fully to a cause that is dear to her: women rights. She makes a second thesis on Islamic feminism in Morocco and continues with an experience of several months in the Moroccan Association Women Solidarity that helps single mothers and their so called illegitimate children a matter still a taboo in a conservative society. Since February 2014 Sarah Zouak initiated her own project called Women Sense Tour in Muslim countries that aims at getting together 25 Muslim women as actors of change and be with them for several months in order to (re) valorize the image society assigns them and support them in their projects! These Muslim women all act on a specific theme: the empowerment of women and girls! |
